CAMPING - CAMPSITES
We selected our camping beaches for their intimacy, access to our paddling and snorkeling areas, the equally incredible but different views each campsite offers of the islands, sunsets, sunrises, star-filled skies, and as practical, workable, and comfortable beaches on which to camp. They also each provide immediate access to fantastic areas for snorkeling and kayaking for those wishing to ‘jump in or jump on’ right from camp at their desire. Of course, by staying overnight on the beaches, we can do several evening activities such as stargazing, full-moon paddles or night snorkeling!
Each beach is large enough to accommodate all of our full-size tents, a dining tent, areas for food preparation, our comfort and shower tents yet still provide plenty of room for you to find your own private piece of paradise for quite times.
Our boat (called a Banca) remains with us during the evening for complete support if needed and we make daily trips back to town to re-supply our campsite. Things like ice, beverages, food, and water (both drinking and cleaning) are always in abundant supply.

Campsite 1 (Central Bacuit Bay)
Campsite 1 is tucked away on a beach that is bordered by immense limestone cliffs and gives the true intimate camping experience. This small, quiet bay is moderately enclosed by limestone cliffs giving a very personal feel to our campsite. Quite often, phrases like ‘heaven on earth’ are voiced by guests upon their first views of our campsite.
The beach (and our arrangement of the tents) offers great east views of Paglugaban and Simuzu Islands as well as pastel-colored sunrises. Because we are situated in the heart of the islands, we have easy access to many of the attractions such as Big and Small Lagoon, Tres Marias and can also quickly access Guntao and Matinloc Islands.
Campsite 2 (Eastern Bacuit Bay)
Offering a different perspective of Bacuit Bay, Campsite 2 has a breathtaking panoramic view of most of the islands in Bacuit Bay. Not only is it recognized as one of the best places to view a sunset in El Nido, it is also one of the best places for stargazing! We agree, and because it is located on a small bluff with ample room to ‘spread out' our campsite, we chose this without hesitation. Another bonus is the reef located a few feet from shore. The fields of healthy staghorn coral thickets and plenty of reef fish make this one of the best snorkel sites in El Nido.
Campsite 3 (North Bacuit Bay)
For all of its amazing scenery, long stretches of remarkable beaches and fantastic snorkeling, Cadlao Island is often overlooked by many tourists and operators. Our southwest-facing beach is the quintessential tropical island beach, complete with up-close views of Cadlao Isand's 630-meter peak, the tallest in Bacuit Bay. If there is any beach that offers dramatic views of the South China Sea as well as giving a true sense of ‘isolation' it is our Cadlao Island campsite.
Campsite 4 (South Bacuit Bay)
Few places in the southern end of Bacuit Bay offer paradisiacal white-sand beaches with a sense of intimacy. This small beach is hidden away in a lagoon surrounded by soaring limestone cliffs. These attributes were enough to offer this as a world-class campsite, and with easy access to mangroves, terrestrial and sea caves, beautiful snorkeling sites and a variety of kayaking environments made this the perfect choice.
Campsite 5 (West Bacuit Bay)
Like Campsite 2, this beach provides incredible views of many of the islands in Bacuit Bay. Used primarily for smaller groups, this beach puts us a great location for spending time around the larger islands of Matinloc and Tapuitan. It also provides us with some of the best sunset paddling opportunities in the area. |
